Injury Sidelines Ted Warner for Season Monday, August 21st , 2056 A blow for Ted Warner today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 7-8 months with a torn labrum. Warner suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Buckhead Bowties are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Warner's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this season Warner has picked up no saves in 10 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 0-2 won-lost mark with a 3.68 ERA and fanned 16 batters in 22 innings. |
