Super Week for Charleston's Ellis! Monday, July 3rd , 2056 The Player of the Week has been chosen by the Menard's Third League. The award went to Horace Ellis, left fielder of the Charleston Battery. In a sensational hitting performance, he wrecked league pitchers with a .455 average to win the honor. Ellis went 10-for-22 for the week, totaled 4 home runs and 9 RBIs and scored 6 times.
