The 26-year-old third baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the United States Silver League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .462 average (12-for-26) with 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 7 runs scored. So far this season Popovic is batting .292 with 18 home runs. |
