Javier Solís Injured, Out for Year Saturday, September 23rd , 2056 Javier Solís will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Pittsburgh reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Solís was injured while throwing a pitch in the Kingfishers-Oaks clash at Pittsburgh Grounds recently. Doctors said he has bone chips in his elbow and would be out a minimum of 4 months.
So far this year Solís has delivered 1 save. In 21 relief appearances he has 22 strikeouts in 43 innings with a 1.26 ERA and 2 wins and 1 loss.
