Rainbow Mermaids-Hurricanes Swap Confirmed Friday, August 4th , 2056 The Rainbow Mermaids and Hurricanes pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 25-year old minor league CF Jeffrey Encarnación, 31-year old C Suphi Koraltan, and 18-year old minor league RHP José Alfaro head to Cape Coral in exchange for 32-year old C Marcos Espinoza. A source close to Northern Virginia officials said, "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs." For the season Koraltan is currently batting .187 with 1 home run and 4 RBIs. In 28 games he has reached base at a .337 rate and scored 12 runs to date. |
