Cervantes of Athletic Club KC Named Best Pitcher Monday, September 25th , 2056 Cisco Cervantes of the U-24 humbled hitters all season long and today celebrated as he hauled in the USPL Single A Pitcher of the Year trophy, the coveted Outstanding Pitcher Award. The Athletic Club KC hurler held opposing hitters to a .191 batting average while putting up a 9-3 record and a 2.20 earned run average. He started 18 games, pitched 114.1 innings and struck out 188. He received 8 first place votes out of a possible 10.
