Godron Sizzles -- Smokes Generals for 5 Hits Monday, September 4th , 2056 Loran Godron really sizzled at the plate in today's 17-5 win over Generals. The Athletic Club KC first baseman blistered Washington for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Godron was too tough to get out today," the Generals skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Loran Godron singled in the 1st, hit a three-run double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
