Wright Razor-Sharp, Shuts Out Caldwell Wednesday, July 26th , 2056 In an outstanding mound performance, South Beach Blaze starter Randall Wright fired a complete-game shutout against the Caldwell Chiefs at Pipers Ballpark today. Wright was the key to the Blaze's 2-0 win. The 24-year-old left-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 5 hits and no walks he allowed. "5 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout." This year Wright has recorded a 6-2 mark.
