Star of the Week Awarded in PA Monday, June 19th , 2056 Iván Garza demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the USPL Single A Player of the Week Award. The Cut Off second baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .500 average (10-for-20) with 1 home run and 6 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. Thus far this season in 34 games Garza is batting .223 with 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and 9 runs scored. He has 29 hits in 130 at-bats. |
