Season Possibly Over for Always Wright Tuesday, May 30th , 2056 When Always Wright was hurt against the Columbia River Rats, the Cut Off Crawdads were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 22-year-old left fielder suffered a broken kneecap running the bases in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Wright would miss 8 months of the season. To date Wright has chalked up a .304 average with 2 home runs, driven in 4 runs and scored 3 times. |
