Weaver Chosen July's Best SA Hurler Tuesday, August 1st , 2056 So when does a fireman win an award? When he's named Steven Weaver, that's when. The Grand Forks reliever won the Pitcher of the Month Award honors today for July, thanks to the solid numbers he put up coming out of the bullpen. He made no relief appearances and compiled no saves with a 3-0 mark, 31.2 innings, 44 strikeouts and a 0.57 ERA. This year Weaver has earned no saves, worked 77.1 innings, fanned 91 hitters and recorded a 1.28 ERA. He has also put up a 7-2 won-lost mark. |
