Lakerveld Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, July 24th , 2056 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing David Lakerveld was rewarded with the USSL Single A Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Eugene Vandals first baseman hit .524 while collecting 11 hits in 21 at-bats, 1 home run and 3 RBIs. This year Lakerveld is batting .268 with 7 home runs and 25 RBIs. |
