Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Thursday, July 20th , 2056 Riley Funk of the Holy City Herons and Steve Kidd of the Eugene Vandals received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Mango Yard. For the season, Funk is hitting at a .202 clip with 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and has scored 6 runs. He has 24 hits, 7 walks and a .269 on-base percentage. To date this year Kidd has compiled a 5-6 mark with a 4.62 ERA in 14 starts. |
