Week's Premier Performer Honored by SA Monday, July 17th , 2056 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Alameda second baseman Max Rafter. He went on a rampage last week against SA hurlers and rapped out 10 hits in 22 at-bats for a .455 average while hitting 2 home runs, driving in 8 runs and scoring 7 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the USSL Single A Player of the Week trophy. Rafter was honored today at a press conference. To date Rafter has chalked up a .217 average with 3 home runs, driven in 14 runs and scored 23 times. |
