Tate Wins Best Bat Award in June Saturday, July 1st , 2056 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 22 Kelsey Tate has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Monroeville Yinzers star can enjoy the numbers he put up in June, which have garnered him the nod as the USSL Single A Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .306 average with 8 home runs, 27 RBIs and 11 runs scored. Tate is batting .260 this year with 10 home runs, 33 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He has 45 hits in 173 at-bats. |
