Rowdy Players Suspended by League Monday, June 21st , 2055 Joaquín González of Yucca Valley and Júlio Ramírez of Mancelona were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. González will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Ramírez was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. This year González is batting .193 with 3 home runs. He has scored 11 runs and driven in 12. This year Ramírez has posted a 1-3 mark in 9 starts and has a 5.80 ERA. |
