Grim Reapers Win SL A Championship
|
The Grim Reapers pulled out all the stops tonight, winning the SL A Championship in a hard-fought series with the Holy City Herons.
It was a seesaw affair, but with a 1-0 victory at Mango Yard, Grim lay claim to the franchise's 4th championship.
"There's no denying we faced a tough opponent," said Gustavo Villa. "But as the old saying goes, 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going,' and that's what we did today."
The champs finished the regular season 60-36 and claimed first place in the Silver A.
A victory parade is set to be schedule in Grim in the days to come.
