Seattle used the clutch hitting of José Costa to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Rocketeers ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Seattle manager Andrew Powell. "Our pregame was pretty good."
