Bullets Down Kingfishers, 4-1
|
The MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers got a superb performance from pitcher John Dodson. Still, it wasn't enough to beat MSL Baltimore. The Bullets won the game, 4-1. Dodson threw 5.1 innings of 3-hit ball. MSL Baltimore pitcher Ximena Hardey got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jai-guo Chio got the loss. MSL Baltimore bumps their record to 17-22 with the win.
MSL Baltimore took a 3-1 lead on Jeffrey Whittier's 4th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Whittier hit in the top of the tenth, left MSL Pittsburgh pitcher Jai-guo Chio shaking his head.
"I like how we battled to the end," said Whittier.
