Elite Top Cattlemen to Even Record
The MSL Detroit Elite defeated the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 6-4, at MSL Detroit Ballpark. MSL Detroit shortstop Qi-chang Chia had a superb performance. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Félix Santana got the win, improving to 3-3. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 9 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 1. With the victory, the Elite record now stands at 8-8.

MSL Detroit took a 6-4 lead on Félix Méndez's 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Méndez hit in the bottom of the seventh, left MSL Ft. Worth pitcher Omero Pirandello visibly frustrated.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Chia.
