Kingfishers Win, 6-4, at MSL Baltimore
|
The MSL Baltimore Bullets got a superb performance from pitcher Jesús Alonzo. Still, it wasn't enough to beat MSL Pittsburgh. The Kingfishers won the game, 6-4. Alonzo came in in relief and pitched to 22 batters. The Kingfishers raised their record to 4-6.
Bruce King hit a run-scoring triple off Alfonso Crisci in the top of the third, which put the Kingfishers in front, 1-0. King had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," King told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
