Cattlemen Roll to 9-2 Win Over Shredders
|
Ft. Worth beat Hollywood on the strength of starter Chase Davis's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 9-2. Richello Dosono, 2-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. With the win, Ft. Worth upped its record to 33-28.
In the bottom of the sixth, Ft. Worth third baseman Francisco Alhama had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Alhama stroked a 2-run single to left. It made the score 4-2, Ft. Worth. For the game, he was 1 for 3. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Ft. Worth skipper Scott Thompson.
