Dirty Reds Pull Off Thrilling 5-3 Win in Extras
The MSL Dayton Dirty Reds topped the MSL Toledo Stingers, 5-3, with shortstop César Diéguez playing a big role. Diéguez hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Dirty Reds in the win. Tobias Juan notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 3.2 innings. His record now sits at 1-2. The 11th-place Stingers have dropped 8 straight games.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With two out, Diéguez hit a fastball from Calvin Oskamp for a 2-run home run. The Dirty Reds, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
