The MSL Nova Scotia Leviathan and starting pitcher Santiago Gonzáles stifled the MSL Dayton offense en route to a comfortable 8-2 win at MSL Nova Scotia Ballpark. Gonzáles got the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 5 hits and walked 2 over 7.2 innings. Gonzáles allowed 2 runs. The win takes MSL Nova Scotia to 3-5.

The Leviathan got an important contribution from first baseman Greg Hudson, who in the bottom of the second hit a fastball into left-center for a bases-clearing double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Leviathan ahead, 4-0.
