Rocketeers Snag 7-6 Win
|
The MSL Seattle Rocketeers had to overcome a big game from MSL Boston designated hitter Ulbert Solleveld to leave MSL Seattle Ballpark with a victory. And they did, winning 7-6. Solleveld went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Adam Wass in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Rafael Torres took the loss. MSL Seattle now sits at 25-21, while MSL Boston falls to 29-17.
MSL Seattle won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With no outs and Rafael Torres on the mound for MSL Boston, catcher Raúl Silva hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Rocketeers fans to their feet.
"We take it day by day here," said Silva, "and today was a good one for us."
