Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Voodoo
The MSL New Orleans Voodoo beat the MSL D.C. Divided, 8-5, at MSL D.C. Ballpark. MSL New Orleans catcher Stephen Aldridge had an outstanding performance. He went 3-5 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Lúcio Delgado, now 2-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. John Harris was called on to finish, recording his 6th save.

Raúl Cruz had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the ninth for MSL New Orleans. With the bases loaded and the Voodoo leading 6-5, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"We maximized our offense today," said MSL New Orleans skipper Kevin Hancock. "That makes everyone's life easier."

MSL New Orleans has now won 3 straight, while the Divided have lost 3 in a row.
