The timely hitting of Orlando Gómez helped the MSL St. Louis Coeur down the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves, 9-2. Gómez hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 4 for the Coeur. Getting the save was Sergio Salinas, his 2nd. The winning continues for MSL St. Louis, with the latest making it 10 straight.
MSL St. Louis relied on the hitting of Onye Paulino to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Coeur on top, 2-0. For the game, Paulino had 2 home runs and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said MSL St. Louis manager José Moreno.
