The MSL New Orleans Voodoo defeated the MSL Seattle Rocketeers, 5-4, in USPL Mexican Summer League action at MSL New Orleans Ballpark. MSL New Orleans pitcher Russell Anderson had a standout performance. MSL New Orleans reliever John Harris was the winner. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Wei-qian Lum. After today's action, MSL New Orleans sits at 18-19, while MSL Seattle falls to 19-18.

Cris Colón was the walk-off hero for MSL New Orleans. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Voodoo right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Glad to get this win," said Anderson. "But we need to keep playing at a high level."
