Voodoo Lose, 3-1, at MSL Buffalo Ballpark

The bats were silent much of the day at MSL Buffalo Ballpark. But Lúcio Román conjured up just enough offense to carry the White Walkers past the MSL New Orleans Voodoo, 3-1. Román hit 2 home runs. Tan-ming Bian got credit for the win, improving to 2-3. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 4.1 innings. Earning his 2nd save of the year was Gary Aldridge.
With MSL Buffalo leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Román came up to bat against MSL New Orleans pitcher Héctor Yepe. Román hit a changeup to right-center for a solo home run. His 11th home run of the season put the White Walkers on top, 2-0.
"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Román.
At 21-15, MSL Buffalo is in third place in the PL MSL.
