White Walkers Defeat U-18, 8-1
|
Finlay Midwinter was superb against MSL Athletic Club KC. The right-hander, who is tied for 4th in the PMSL with a 11.3 K/9 rate, had a changeup that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a White Walkers victory. The score was 8-1. With the victory, the White Walkers record now stands at 14-9.
Though he did not get the decision, Midwinter did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 7.2 innings, until MSL Buffalo eventually rallied past the U-18.
"I liked his command," said MSL Buffalo manager Amadeo Nardello. "Finlay was throwing strikes."
