In a tight game between the MSL Panama City Piranhas and the MSL St. Louis Coeur, pitcher José García was terrific on the mound. The MSL Panama City right-hander helped his team to the 3-1 win. At 5-7, the Piranhas find themselves in 7th place in the PL MSL.
With runs few and far between, the Piranhas had to seize their opportunities when they came. One of the most important chances for MSL Panama City came in the bottom of the fourth inning, when third baseman Ledvik Plichtov delivered a run-scoring single. The single was hit off Cheslav Vadbolski and made the score 2-1, Piranhas. Plichtov was 1-2 with a walk.
"This was a tough loss," said MSL St. Louis manager José Moreno. "It'll stick in my craw for a while."
