|
The Ellesmere Island Snowpeople outlasted the Bompton Baby Lakers in an extra-inning thriller.
The Ellesmere Island Snowpeople defeated the Bompton Baby Lakers, 3-2, in M3L Low A action at Field of the Browns. Ellesmere Island pitcher Pengel Maj had a standout performance. The win gives the Snowpeople a record of 28-62.
Ellesmere Island needed the clutch hitting of Kuan Huie to notch the win. The designated hitter hammered a solo home run in the top of the 14th inning to put the Snowpeople on top, 3-2. For the game, Huie had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
