Salazaro Electric in 6-1 Win
|
Napanee picked up a win at Paints Ballpark, bumping off the Northwest Territory Beavers, 6-1. Pitcher José Salazaro was a major reason the Express emerged victorious. Napanee has a record of 50-39, placing them 4th in the Menard's Low A.
The Express liked what they saw from Salazaro. The 20-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Beavers to no runs on 3 hits over 7.1 innings, and striking out 14.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Salazaro said.
