The Napanee Express topped the Tulsa Otters by the score of 7-3, with the largest share of the credit going to first baseman Ron Mitchell. Mitchell went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Express. Napanee is now 48-35, Tulsa 40-43.

The Express got an important contribution from center fielder Edward Robinson, who in the bottom of the sixth hit a first pitch fastball into right-center for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Express ahead, 6-2.
