With first baseman Dave Hardin leading the charge, the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish defeated the Napanee Express, 9-0, at Plattsburgh Park. Hardin went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Glenn Lortkipanidze, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save. The 'W' lifts Plattsburgh's record to 33-45.

Plattsburgh took a 3-0 lead on José Padilla's 10th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Padilla hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Napanee pitcher Marvin de Leeuw visibly frustrated.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Padilla.
