Shockers Collect 6-5 Win Over Snowpeople
The Surprise Shockers weathered an outstanding game by Ellesmere Island catcher Kuan Huie to topple the Snowpeople, 6-5. Huie went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The win was credited to Alex Carr in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Charles Siddorn took the loss. The Snowpeople, now 22-54, have lost 5 straight.

Matt Lewis won the game for Surprise when homered off Charles Siddorn in the bottom of the 15th.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Lewis said in his postgame press conference.
