The inspired effort of Greenport center fielder King Large was not enough to prevent a loss, 5-3, to the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish. Large went 1 for 1 with a double and 4 walks. Plattsburgh is now 31-44.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, José Padilla contributed a big hit for the Puffer Fish. With Plattsburgh trailing 3-1, he hammered a 2-run home run.

Padilla called the win "a team effort."
