Harbor Whales second baseman Porter Robbins put his stamp on his team's 6-3 win over the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish. Robbins went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for Greenport in the contest. Greenport goes to 54-19. The win puts them 9½ games up in their division.

Early in the game, Robbins had a 2-run home run for Greenport. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Harbor Whales on top, 2-0.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Robbins told the Greenport Chronicle. "It's as simple as that."
