Plattsburgh Park was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Quebec City Baby Blues and Plattsburgh Puffer Fish.

Michael Allen did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish from losing, 6-5, to the Quebec City Baby Blues at Plattsburgh Park. Allen was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times. The winner in relief was Júlio Montoya. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-1.

Quebec City used a clutch hit from Les Dotson to snatch the win. The center fielder belted a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Baby Blues ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit, but it was huge.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Andrés Ventura, the Quebec City skipper.

The Baby Blues, now 31-37, have won 4 in a row.
