Garrison Excels in 5-2 Bompton Win
|
Bompton left fielder Ralph Garrison helped his team beat the Quebec City Baby Blues, 5-2. Garrison went 2 for 3 for the Baby Lakers. Bompton starter Pila Milanni was credited with the win after throwing 115 pitches over 7 innings. His record now stands at 5-5. Bompton, now 26-33, holds down 10th place in the Menard's Low A.
The Baby Lakers got a lift from first baseman Jim Chuma who had a 3-run home run in the bottom of the first inning off Rovilson Elemia. It was his 9th home run of the season and put Bompton in front, 3-0.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Garrison.
