Barrera Silences Tulsa Bats
|
The Bompton Baby Lakers picked up a win at Field of the Browns, courtesy of Félix Barrera. The right-hander helped his team stop the Tulsa Otters, 2-0. Tulsa, at 22-28, has lost 4 straight.
The Baby Lakers liked what they saw from Barrera. The 21-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Otters to no runs on 4 hits over 8 innings, and striking out 5.
"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Barrera said.
