Harbor Whales Deal Puffer Fish 4-2 Loss
The Greenport Harbor Whales picked up a win at Plattsburgh Park, knocking off the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish, 4-2. On the mound for Greenport was right-hander Ricardo Tirado, who played a pivotal role in the win. Tirado, now 5-1, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. The Menard's Low A-leading Harbor Whales are 39-10.

It could have been a different outcome for Greenport, had it not been for Brad Whitehead, the 20-year old center fielder . Whitehead contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Greenport up, 2-1.

"I like what I saw today," said Greenport manager Dave Lee, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
