Tommy Alderdice was outstanding against Tulsa. The right-hander, who is tied for 7th in the 3A- with a 7 quality starts, had a splitter that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Shockers 4-1 win. Kun Ec earned the save for Surprise, his 14th. The Shockers sit in third place in the Menard's Low A with a record of 29-19.

The Shockers got a lift from left fielder Matt Lewis, who in the bottom of the third hit a 2-run triple. His 1st triple of the season put the Shockers on top, 4-0.

"I had a good game plan," said Alderdice. "I made my pitches." His manager concurred. "It was all there," Geoffroy Cadaloba said, "the velocity, the sharpness of his pitches."
