The Flint Crush defeated the Amarillo Warheads, 7-0, in USSL Low A action at Ballpark of Henderson. Flint pitcher Albert Martínez had a standout performance. With the win, the Crush sit at 49-47.
Flint used the clutch hitting of Carlos Limón to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Crush the lead, 4-0. For the game, Limón had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Limón told the Flint Herald. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."
