Baby Blues Stick Puffer Fish with 3-1 Loss
The Quebec City Baby Blues got a magnificent performance from pitcher Desi Riley, who muffled the Plattsburgh offense en route to a tight 3-1 Baby Blues win at Dylan Park. In 7 innings, Riley surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. Jesús Cardenas earned the save for Quebec City, his 1st of the year.

Kane Fullalove helped out the Quebec City cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the first baseman drove in one run.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Quebec City skipper Andrés Ventura.

The Baby Blues improved to 11-14.
