Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Rhinos
The Redwood Rhinos defeated the Amarillo Warheads, 4-3, in USSL Low A action at Ballpark of Henderson. Redwood pitcher Jeff McDonald had a standout performance. Chun-hua Zhào earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. His record is now 4-2. At 36-45, the Rhinos claim 8th place in the Silver Low A.

Chia-ch'ing Chen hit a run-scoring triple off Norman Ayres in the top of the 11th, which put the Rhinos in front, 4-3. Chen had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 5.

"It was terrific getting this win," McDonald said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
