Oort Leads Puffer Fish to 5-1 Win over Toros
The Tijuana Toros and Plattsburgh Puffer Fish were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Plattsburgh picked up a win at Toros Ballpark, toppling the Tijuana Toros, 5-1. Pitcher Nelle Oort was one of the reasons the Puffer Fish triumphed. With the loss, Tijuana drops to 6-6.

Oort made it look easy. He scattered 5 hits over 8 innings, while racking up 8 strikeouts. The right-hander upped his season record to 1-2.

"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Oort told the Plattsburgh Times.
