Extra innings were needed to determine a winner at Flint Park.

Flint got a terrific performance from pitcher Peter Brenchley, but it wasn't enough to beat the Redwood Rhinos. Redwood won the Flint Park contest, 4-3. Brenchley threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Chun-hua Zhào earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2 innings. He upped his record to 3-0.

Redwood used the timely hitting of Jung Chan-sung to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Rhinos on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Chan-sung.

After today's action, Redwood sits at 26-32; Flint slips to 33-25.
