The Hollywood Shredders got a stellar performance from pitcher Steve Crabtree, who handcuffed the Detroit offense en route to a win, 4-1, at The Hollywood Bowl. Crabtree, the winner, moves to 4-2. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 11 and giving up no walks. The win puts Hollywood at 22-17 this season.

Doing his part for Hollywood was right fielder Rubén Nuañez, who stroked a run-scoring double in the bottom of the third. For the game, Nuañez went 1-3 with a double and a walk.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Nuañez.
