The Flint Crush topped the Hudsonville Flanderses, 5-2, in USSL Low A action at Hudsonville Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Flint pitcher Peter Brenchley. Flint has now won 8 straight, while the Flanderses have lost 3 in a row.

Flint used the clutch hitting of Maxwell Townsley to capture the win. The pinch hitter drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Crush ahead, 5-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.

"Slowly but surely, the wins are piling up," said Brenchley.
